It is of crucial importance to find out first whether we see a possibility of making a positive contribution toward the advancement of the particular firm in question. In this respect, we have already accumulated a lot of experience over the years, albeit under different constellations; nonetheless, even within the only recently established ING 3 we have set the course for such work. In any event, we are interested in projects which have good economic prospects, in other words, are predicated on realistic rather than fantastic expectations, and which are achieved through cooperative efforts typical of a partnership (Shareholder value is not the only driving force in our business ventures!).
